BTHS’s varsity runners traveled to White Plains HS on Saturday (5/11/19) to represent the PSAL at the 52nd annual Glenn D. Loucks Games along with 240 high schools from the Tristate area, New England, Virginia, Ohio and even four Canadian Provinces. Kudos to Bishopp Boutin ’19 for winning the Varsity Pentathlon by three event points as he clinched 1st place in the final 1500m event. 1.     Bishopp Boutin ‘19 edged Poly Prep’s Quinn Lansill 3120 to 3117 event points to win the Mens Pentathlon.

In the 1500m finale Lansill needed a decisive victory to grab 1st place.  But Boutin shadowed Lansill throughout the grueling last event, losing the race by .14 seconds -- but winning the overall event.

Boutin, the 2018 PSAL Outdoor Pentathalon Champion will defend his title at Icahn Stadium on 5/26/19.

2.     Parker Straight ’19 set a Personal Record in the 800m (1:56.76)

3.     In the Nick Panaro 4x800m relay event, the Engineers “B” team (Otto Horiuchi ’20, Christian Nicolas ‘20

Isaac Stamper ’19 and Peja Breuler ’19) took 4th place with a time of 8:22.73 further lowering their PSAL City qualifying time by 15 seconds.
