Grand Street grabbed a 3-0 first inning lead. Tech answered with a run in the third inning, after Victor Riso was hit by a pitch and Jasper Stoddard drove him home with a triple to left-center field. But that was as close as the Engineers would come. The Wolves added four runs in the fourth inning, two in the fifth and two more in the sixth to bring the game to an early finish.

Tech got singles from Harry Yamada and Boubacar Basse in addition to Stoddard’s triple.

The Engineers return to action on Monday, April 8, when they host Tottenville at the Parade Grounds.
