BOYS & GIRLS INDOOR TRACK

The 2018-19 Boys & Girls indoor track teams braved incredibly frigid [4 degrees!] weather on Monday representing BTHS at the the MLK Meet. For more details, please click the headline.

1/21/19 MLK Indoor Track & Field Relays Meet 

Boys highlights:
 
1.       Dylan Canales ['20] took 1st place in the varsity 1600m
2.       Bishopp Boutin again broke the 8 second barrier in the 55m High Hurdles, taking 2nd place with a time of 7.94
3.       Boutin continued to show his all-around versatility and prepare for the spring season outdoor pentathlon by placing 7th in the Long Jump with a leap of 19'-1.5" while  Obrian Rosario ['20] took 10th place jumping 18'-6".

Girls highlights:
4.       Christy Huynh ['20] showing no fatigue from Friday's meet took 2nd place in the varsity 1500m race.
5.       Fr. runner Farah Osman ['22] and Soph. Maya Almawaldi ['21] took 5th and 6th place respectively in the 3000m race with Osman's 11:40.95 qualifying for the PSAL City Finals next month.  Go Farah!

This weekend the track teams will be in Staten Island competing in the Ocean Breeze HS Invitational.
