The 2018-19 Boys & Girls indoor track teams had a busy holiday weekend at the Manhattan Armory Track & Field Center with the 24th annual New Balance Games on Friday 1/18/19. For more details, please click the headline.

1/18/19 24th Annual New Balance Games 

Boys highlights:
1.        The Distance Medley Relay team ["DMR": 1200m/400m/800m/1600m legs] took 2nd place led by seniors Parker Straight, Sufiyan Sarguroh, Astor Meredith-Goujon and Evan Parker with a time of 10:34.26
2.        Seniors Isaac Stamper and Peja Brueler qualified for the PSAL City Finals in the 1000m.
3.        The Sprint Medley Relay team ["SMR": 400m/200m/200m/800m] won their heat with a time of 3:50.07 led by DeQuane Nealy ['20] setting a Personal Record with a 53.7 second split in the 1st leg.  He was supported by teammates Obrian Rosario ['20] and Luke Wang ['20] in the 200m legs and Otto Horiuchi ['20] crossing the finish line as the 800m anchor.

Girls highlights:
4.        Christy Huynh ['20] ran a City Finals qualifying time of 3:10.48 in the 1000m.
